Job description
Deliver ExceptionalWhole-Person Care. We are seeking a Board-Certified Locum Tenens Family Medicine Physician to join our growing, team-based primary care practice in Tacoma, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physician who is passionate about preventive medicine, relationship-based care, and improving patient outcomes through a collaborative, value-based care model.
Position Highlights:- Manageable patient volume of 10-15 patients per day
- Extended appointment times (20-60 minutes)
- Collaborative, team-based care model
- Dedicated clinical support team, including health coaches
- Focus on preventive, value-based, whole-person care
- Leadership opportunities within a growing organization
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency (Family Medicine preferred; Internal Medicine considered)
- Current Board Certification through ABFM, ABIM, or AOA
- Minimum of 3 years of primary care experience
- Current, unrestricted Washington medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Current DEA registration
- Documentation of a negative TB test within 12 months prior to start date
- Experience practicing in a team-based care environment
