Job description

Deliver ExceptionalWhole-Person Care. We are seeking a Board-Certified Locum Tenens Family Medicine Physician to join our growing, team-based primary care practice in Tacoma, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physician who is passionate about preventive medicine, relationship-based care, and improving patient outcomes through a collaborative, value-based care model.

Position Highlights:
  • Manageable patient volume of 10-15 patients per day
  • Extended appointment times (20-60 minutes)
  • Collaborative, team-based care model
  • Dedicated clinical support team, including health coaches
  • Focus on preventive, value-based, whole-person care

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency (Family Medicine preferred; Internal Medicine considered)
  • Current Board Certification through ABFM, ABIM, or AOA
  • Minimum of 3 years of primary care experience
  • Current, unrestricted Washington medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current DEA registration
  • Documentation of a negative TB test within 12 months prior to start date
  • Experience practicing in a team-based care environment
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred
  • Knowledge of medical coding and documentation, including Medicare Advantage and HCC coding
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
