Able Home Healthcare in San Diego, CA is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Home Health Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring accurate reimbursement and seamless revenue cycle operations within a growing home health organization. Responsibilities:
  • Process and submit accurate medical claims for home health services to Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers
  • Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for home health diagnoses and procedures
  • Review and audit clinical documentation to ensure coding compliance and accuracy
  • Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on unpaid or denied claims, and manage appeals
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with CMS home health billing regulations and OASIS documentation requirements
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve billing discrepancies
Requirements:
