DEDUCTION RESOLUTION SPECIALIST - NON TRADE - CORPORATE OFFICE (AUSTIN OR WILLMAR, MN)

Relocation is not eligible for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs research and resolution duties associated with deductions and credit types in a team environment.  This includes identifying, researching, collecting appropriate supporting documentation and determining the appropriate resolution in an audit compliant manner.
  • Uses time management skills to code deductions, submit backup and identify new trends for assigned customers.
  • Works directly with external customers, field sales and others within Hormel in order to resolve open items.
  • Processes and approves credit resolutions using the High Radius application.
  • Collaborates with team members and other areas for the purpose of deduction prevention and process improvement.
  • Handles identification, invoice preparation and collection of invalid deductions.
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Demonstrated pattern of initiative.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Proven ability to make independent decisions and work under minimal supervision.

Preferred

  • Experience with Oracle Billing and Accounts Receivable, Hormel Decision Support (HDS), Pricing Warehouse and High Radius.
  • Proficiency in the Windows environment including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Post high school accounting classes or accounting related experience.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Deduction Resolution Specialist role is between $18.75 - $26.25 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
