Description

Accent Electrical Services was founded in 2003 and is located in Broomfield, Colorado. Accent Electrical Services is a commercial electrical contractor with projects located throughout the Denver Metro Area. We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, full-time, Colorado licensed Electrical Foreman to join our team.


The Electrical Foreman must have prior experience in successfully supervising crews and successfully completing electrical projects. This is a working Foreman position, includes supervising Apprentices and Journeymen and ultimate accountability from startup to completion on projects.

Scope of Work:

Work will consist of installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within the electrical construction industry.

Requirements

  • Must have a current Colorado State Electrical Journeyman License
  • Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, blueprints, schematics, one line drawings and written instructions for project
  • Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, avoid unsightly, hazardous, unreliable wiring, be consistent with specifications, safety codes and local electrical codes
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures based on project specifications and local codes
  • Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, electrical feeders, power systems and /or switch gear
  • Repairs faulty equipment or systems
  • Work from ladders, scaffolds or roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures
  • Advise management whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory/foreman experience
  • Ability to start, manage projects, meet production goals and stay within project budget
  • Knowledge of the NFPA, NEC, IECC codes and have strong problem-solving skills
  • Have basic computer skills such as Word, Excel, Bluebeam, etc.
  • Capable of directing crew consisting of Journeyman and Apprentices
