Location: Billings
Position Type: Full-Time (4-Day Work Week) and willing to work OT when necessary
About the Role
At Star Electric, we build more than projects, we build careers.
We're looking for experienced, hard-working 2nd, 3rd, 4th Year Apprentice and Journeyman to join our growing team and work on a variety of commercial and industrial jobs in Billings and across Montana.
Target start date is early to mid August.
You'll be a vital part of the field team, executing high-quality electrical installations and supporting the success of each project. You will report directly to the Site Foreman and are expected to take ownership of your work, maintain high safety standards, and contribute positively to the crew dynamic.

What You'll Do
  • Perform electrical installations on commercial and industrial job sites under the direction of the Site Foreman or Lead.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
  • Complete tasks with attention to detail, quality, and efficiency.
  • Support apprentice development by answering questions and demonstrating proper techniques.
  • Ensure all work meets Star Electric's safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain and care for tools, materials, and job site cleanliness.
  • Coordinate with fellow electricians and foremen to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Travel as needed for projects across Montana (overnight travel required at times; typically, home on weekends).
  • Accurately report completed work and track time and materials used.
