Description

We are looking for a full-time Junior Test Technician to join our Failure Analysis team at our fast-paced electronics facility in Camarillo, CA.  

Required Job Responsibilities:

  • Will test and troubleshoot our new and existing electronic servo amplifier products, report results, and assist with setup and breakdown of test environments, often under the guidance of senior technicians.
  • Will execute predefined tests, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to quality assurance by identifying defects and suggesting improvements.
  • Additional job duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior Work Experience: Minimum 1-year electronics testing and troubleshooting.
  • Must understand electronic principles, circuits, and components.
  • Must be able to use oscilloscope and other test equipment such as multimeter, frequency counter, RLC meter and signal generator.
  • Proficiency in soldering, desoldering.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Required Education:

  • Minimum:   AS Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Other Requirements:

  • This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo facility, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
  • Overtime is required including starting early, staying late, and working weekends.
  • Physical Requirements: occasionally to frequently: walking, standing, sitting, reaching, grasping, carrying, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Some heavy lifting to 40 lbs.
  • We are ITAR Registered (International-Traffic-In-Arms-Regulations). Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company policies and procedures

Pay Range: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
