Job description

Responsibilities
  • Support and advance formulary access, protocol/order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts.
  • Meet/exceed sales objectives by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
  • Manage hospital relationships; engage clinical/non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
  • Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver clinical brand presentations to HCPs and appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., provider account directors, reimbursement managers) to drive aligned execution.
  • Secure hospital formulary wins and translate market access achievements into consistent prescribing/utilization.
  • Engage pharmacy/medical/operational stakeholders to support patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
  • Identify/address barriers to product adoption; conduct compliant educational programs and in-services.
  • Analyze utilization trends and market dynamics; develop territory plans and provide marketing/sales feedback.
  • Manage territory budget and complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance with policies.
Qualifications

Basic:

  • BA/BS from an accredited institution.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Travel up to 50% (including overnight).
  • 5+ years pharma/medical/biotech experience; 3+ years calling on hospitals/health systems.
  • Experience with hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.

Preferred:

  • Record of top-tier sales and product launch success; demand generation in hospitals.
  • Anti-infective experience; account selling expertise; Health Systems model knowledge.
Requirements
  • Lift/move up to 35 pounds.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
  • US base salary: $165,000–$275,000; annual bonus; eligibility for long-term incentive. Benefits include health insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
