Job description

Weโ€™re seeking an experienced Billing Manager (Contractor) to lead billing operations and revenue cycle management across multiple clients. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can motivate a team of independent contractors, and values accuracy, compliance, and client success.ย  Behavioral Health Billing - multi-state billing a plus! This is a remote, work-from home position.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes for assigned clients.

  • Close monthly billing cycles and prepare timely AR, payment, and adjustment reports.

  • Lead and mentor remote billing contractors, ensuring quality and efficiency.

  • Serve as the main client contact (billing staff, CFOs, CEOs), building strong professional relationships.

  • Design, update, and implement billing procedures and train staff accordingly.

  • Interview, onboard, and support contractor development.

  • Collaborate with leadership on client needs, performance, and resource planning.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • 3โ€“5 yearsโ€™ experience in revenue cycle management, billing operations, or related leadership role.

  • Proven ability to improve processes and resolve claims issues effectively.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing remote teams.
