• Conduct individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, fostering emotional healing and resilience.
• Perform comprehensive client assessments to develop tailored treatment strategies that align with their unique needs.
• Identify and address barriers to care, helping clients access the resources they need for effective treatment.
• Document all therapeutic interventions thoroughly, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including health educators and community health staff, to provide holistic, coordinated care.
• Provide timely crisis support and intervention to clients in need, ensuring safety and stabilization.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in mental health treatment practices to enhance client care.

In this role, you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and various family dynamics. Our clients come from different backgrounds and life experiences, making cultural competence and empathy essential skills. You will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on their lives by providing effective counseling within the context of their family systems.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Proven excellent communication and counseling skills, essential for building rapport with clients and their families.
• Experience in developing and implementing psychosocial treatment plans in collaboration with other health professionals.

• At least 2 years of experience in providing therapy services in an outpatient setting, with a strong emphasis on family therapy.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
