We are currently seeking a professional, patient, and empathetic Back Office Medical Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist Physicians and the clinical staff in the delivery of healthcare by performing a variety of medical and office related tasks in the Back and Front Office.

Core Job Duties (but not limited to):

  • Prepare patients for office visits/procedures
  • Note brief history and the reason for the visit in the patient’s chart
  • Perform and record accurate vital signs data
  • Assist providers with examinations and procedures as instructed
  • Assist providers with injections as ordered
  • Ensure patient information is correct
  • Triage patient phone calls

Requirements:

  • Required Education: Graduate of Medical Assistant Program
  • Credentials: Medical Assistant Certification & CPR
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Must have at least 5 years experience working in a Medical Assistant position or directly related field, and at least 1 year working in the Back office
  • Proficiency with EMR system and excellent computer skills
  • Is an effective team player who contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitments
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication that is clear, well-organized, and understanding of audience needs
