The Goddard School in Buford is seeking energetic Assistant Teachers.

Job Types: Full-time / will consider stable part-time schedules

The Goddard School is a renowned program for children 6 weeks to 6 years. We continue to set the standard for excellence by engaging the best educators possible and providing them with the tools they need to be successful. We create an environment where teachers support the nurturing and learning that every child needs. We hire Teachers that truly celebrate the milestones that occur in early childhood.

An Assistant Teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment; Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence; Supports each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance; Establishes positive and effective family relations; Ensures an effective program; Responsive to children’s needs; Maintains professional commitment. Additionally, Assistant Teachers are responsible for working together with the entire faculty in implementing their lesson plans.

Assistant Teacher/ Floater Qualifications:

· High School Diploma/GED certified

· Implement lesson plans

· Prior classroom experience preferred not required

· Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices

· Strong communication and organizational skills
