North Texas Institute of Neurology, Headache amp; Rheumatology is seeking a Medical Assistant for our rapidly growing practice in Plano and Frisco, Texas. We have an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition who takes pride in their work and provides quality customer service to our patients. The medical assistant will float between our Plano and Frisco offices. Come join our team and top-ranking physicians in the country.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient and accurate operation of the medical office.
  • High quality support for medical providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication in a timely manner.
  • Rooming patients
  • Asking and recording provider directed patient questions.
  • Measure patient vital signs to include weight.
  • Deliver instructions to patients as directed by the medical provider.
  • Triaging and processing messages from patients, medical providers, pharmacy, and front office staff.
  • Ensuring exam rooms are adequately stocked daily.
  • Set up exam rooms per medical provider preference.
  • Enter orders, letters, faxes, and forms as directed.
  • Perform EKG’s
SKILLS:
  • Phlebotomy
  • Administering injections
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication is a must.
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program is required.
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Healthcare facility clinical experience preferred but not required.
  • New grads are welcome!
  • Current CPR certification required.

  • English
  • Multilingual applicants are welcome.
JOB TYPE:
  • Full-time
SCHEDULE:
  • Monday- Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • No weekends
  • Major Holiday’s off
