Senior Laboratory Technologist- Central Labs - Evenings

As the largest and busiest Central Labs departments in New York, we set the standards for our field. Our technologists are conducting the widest array of testing in this fast-paced, high-volume environment. Here, you will gain more experience with analysis not being performed anywhere else, including rare opportunities with antibody identification and immunohematology problems. Combined with the stem cell capabilities of our Cellular Therapy department, we offer unlimited opportunities to advance your expertise.

Take the next step in your career and join the team as a Senior Laboratory Technologist. In addition to technical responsibilities,you will assume some supervision and coordination of the activities of the laboratory personnel in the performance of quantitative and qualitative test. Here, you will have the ability to train and guide laboratory technologist, participate in problem-solving processes and maintain quality assurance and quality control standards, among other responsibilities.

This is a part-time evening shift position located at our NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center located on Manhattan's east side.

Preferred Criteria

  • 6 years of experience as a Laboratory Technologist
  • ASCP certification

Required Criteria

  • A minimum of two years experience
  • A Bachelor's degreein Medical Technology (or equivalent experience)
  • New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department
