Job description

Job Title: Medical Assistant – Orthopedic Clinic
Location: Playa Vista, CA

Job Overview

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support an orthopedic outpatient clinic focused on surgical clearance visits. The selected candidate will work closely with an assigned physician and provide clinical support across multiple clinic locations.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic experience required
  • Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross only)
  • Venipuncture experience required
Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient evaluations and surgical clearance appointments.
  • Perform venipuncture and collect specimens as ordered.
  • Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure clinical readiness.
  • Coordinate patient flow and support efficient clinic operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinic policies.
  • Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
