Job description

One of the Kids is dedicated to helping families care for kids with autism — and enjoy the journey. Our kids receive one-on-one pediatric behavioral therapy (ABA, speech, and OT) at our award winning campus while enjoying a variety of developmental activities.

Join us at One of the Kids for a Fall 2026 internship focused on supporting families caring for children with autism. As an intern, you'll organize supplies, assist therapists, and handle administrative tasks. You'll also help maintain therapy rooms and provide support to therapists. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the mental health or pediatric medicine field while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

The Clinic Assistant Summer Intern position is available at South Austin location. We are accepting applications through 8/31/2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize office and therapy supplies, reporting to the office manager when inventory is low.

  • Respond to therapist requests 

  • Provide breaks for therapists

  • Assist with administration tasks

  • Assist in cleaning therapy rooms and gym

  • Act as a teacher’s assistant during structured group activities

    • Keep learners on task

    • Gather needed materials

    • Assist with children's needs 

    • Attend and assist in teaching lessons/leading crafts and other activities 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent attendance and work ethic

  • Desire to work with children
