Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant at Med-Care Providers, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring a smooth patient experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for administrative and clinical tasks to ensure efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients with a friendly, professional attitude. Ensure patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.
  • Clinical Support: Assist with patient intake, vitals, and preparing patients for examination. Provide direct support during procedures and treatments as needed.
  • Documentation & EHR Management: Utilize the AdvancedMD EHR, Practice Management, and Billing system to accurately document patient information, medical history, and updates. Ensure timely and accurate charting.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle patient scheduling, coordinate referrals, answer phone calls, and manage patient communications with precision and professionalism.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with providers, clinical staff, and management to maintain smooth daily operations. Maintain a positive and supportive environment that promotes wellness and effective patient care.
  • Billing & Coding: Assist with billing and coding tasks related to patient encounters, ensuring accurate documentation in line with insurance requirements.
