Job description

We are seeking a full time Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to join our team. Busy one physician practice specializing in Pulmonary Medicine, Allergy, Infectious Disease and Sleep Medicine. Friendly staff, team atmosphere.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Rooming patients
  • Taking vitals
  • Allergy skin testing
  • Spirometry
  • Subcutaneous and IM injections
  • Ordering medical tests
  • Prior authorizations
  • Assisting physicians with procedures including thoracentesis
  • Oximetry
  • Ordering DME to include Oxygen, CPAP, BIPAP etc
  • Some clerical duties

Applicant must have a Medical Assistant Degree. Experience preferred.

Job is full time from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with a 30 minute lunch Monday through Friday, Medical insurance health reimbursement account, 401K, generous time off, paid holidays including Christmas eve and Christmas Dau, 1/2 day New Year's eve as well as New Year's day, Thanksgiving day and the Friday after, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day. If a holiday falls on a weekend day we allow the Friday before the holiday if it falls on a Saturday and a Monday if the holiday falls on a Sunday.
