Medical AssistantLocation: Irving, TXJob Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens as directed.
  • Administer medications and injections as authorized by the physician.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • CPR certification preferred.
Work Environment

This position is based in a medical office setting in Irving, TX. The role requires standing for extended periods, occasional lifting of medical supplies, and direct patient interaction.
