Job description

Renascance Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. The primary position is for medical assisting, but helping at the front desk with phones, insurance verification, and collecting payments may be needed on occasion.
Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the physician during the exam, including taking medical histories, setting up and assisting with minor surgical procedures in a sterile fashion, scribing in the electronic medical record, preparing prescriptions, doing prior authorizations, etc.
  • Assist with cosmetic procedures, such as preparing the patient before and after the procedure
  • Assist in enhancing the social media for the office (ex. Instagram, Facebook, etc)
  • Help with administrative duties in the back and front office in a timely manner
  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff, such as instrument sterilization, inventory for medical and cosmetic supplies, stocking rooms
​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in dermatology is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
