Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55455

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join a collaborative care team focused on delivering high-quality, patient- and family-centered care. In this role, the Medical Assistant supports healthcare providers by performing a range of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient visits and workflows. The role requires adherence to organizational policies and procedures, accurate clinical documentation, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement in patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide delegated care to assigned patients under the supervision of a physician, authorized practitioner, or RN.

  • Assist in implementing patient care plans and adjust approaches based on patient needs, age, and cultural differences.

  • Gather, document, and maintain accurate patient information to support clinical visits.

  • Perform technical procedures such as medication administration, assisting with CPR and medical procedures, and lab draws, as appropriate to the clinical setting.

  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, ensuring patient needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly.

  • Document all patient care and related activities clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner within the medical record.

  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations and ensure patient safety at all times.

  • Support process improvement initiatives, participate in team meetings, and engage in ongoing efforts to enhance patient experience and operational workflows.

  • Provide patient education tailored to the learning needs of patients and caregivers.

  • Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
