Job description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting our client with hiring a Medical Assistant in Austin, Texas! This role is in person / on site. Please review the details below and apply with an updated resume.

 

Position Type:   Three-month contract, opportunity for extension
Schedule:            Monday through Friday; 8am to 5pm

Pay:                       $22.30 to $24.30 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:

·         Rooming patients, obtaining vitals including manual BP, draw labs

·         Perform procedures such as nebulizers, ear lavage, EKG, eye exams, and other screenings as needed.

·         Responsible for patient outreach, answering phones, and medical management of patients.

·         Other administrative responsibilities when the need arises.

 

Qualifications of the Medical Assistant:

·         High school graduate or GED equivalent

·         Medical Assistant certification or registration

·         One year of medical assistant experience

·         Knowledge of Managed Care Workflow preferred

Pay Details: $22.30 to $24.30 per hour
