Immediate Opening
Thoroughbred Wellness & Recovery is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a unique hands-on role that combines client care, care coordination, and administrative support in a fast-paced behavioral health and substance abuse treatment environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM-7:00 PM
Position Summary
The Medical Assistant/CNA will play an essential role in supporting nursing operations and ensuring clients receive timely and coordinated care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing direct client interaction with administrative and organizational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and document client vital signs
  • Assist with client care and support nursing services
  • Complete and track medication prior authorizations
  • Coordinate outside medical appointments and referrals
  • Transport clients to outside appts
  • Communicate with pharmacies, providers, and insurance companies
  • Monitor and maintain medical and office supply inventory
  • Perform administrative and clerical support duties
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Support the nursing department with daily operational needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • Current CNA certification or Medical Assistant certification
  • Current CPR certification
