Job Title: Media Workflow Support Technician
Duration: 6 Months
Location: New York, NY

Job Description
The opportunity is related to providing troubleshooting and support services related to promotional (and in future feature) content delivered along with various programs aired linearly and non-linearly through channels.
The key requirements are as follows:
1. Foundational knowledge of the Entertainment and Media terms such as encoding, transcoding, media containers, etc. (can also learn quickly on the job)
2. Strong communication skills (will coordinate with different people in and across departments to resolve issues)
3. Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills (will need to quickly figure out why a media file did not get processed)
4. Responsible, motivated and energetic and be able to handle stressful situations (many media deliveries have tight deadlines for delivery)
5. Willing to work long hours for short-bursts of time (such as Thursdays and Fridays)
This is also a great opportunity for the individual to get an in-depth understanding of the media industry, as they will be working very closely with Producers and Editors of the content in one of the leading brands in the industry. The opportunity is potentially long-term (6 months to 1+ year) and can help hone their communication, relationship, leadership, and problem solving skills.
Additional Information: Must work at client site in NYC 5 days a week
