Position Summary
Improveit Home Remodeling is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Coordinator to support the execution of marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand and improve operational efficiency across the marketing department. Position Summary 
We are seeking a creative, driven, and highly collaborative Media Production Specialist to bring the Improveit brand to life through photography, videography, storytelling, and social content. 
This role will assist in the process of identifying compelling remodeling projects, coordinating with homeowners, capturing professional photo and video content, and transforming that content into engaging assets for social media, digital advertising, commercials, recruiting, and other marketing initiatives. 
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable behind the camera, in the editing suite, and in the field. This person should have a strong creative eye, understand how to tell compelling stories, and be able to independently manage projects from concept through final delivery. 
This role will also support select events and on-location marketing activities, including live social coverage and event setup.
Key Responsibilities
Photography & Videography 
  • Identify completed remodeling projects and customer stories that are strong candidates for photography and video. 
  • Coordinate with homeowners to obtain permissions and schedule photo/video sessions. 
  • Capture high-quality photography and video showcasing Improveit’s remodeling work, people, culture, and customer experience. 
  • Conduct customer interviews and guide homeowners, employees, and other talent to create authentic, engaging stories. 
  • Operate cameras, lighting, audio, and other production equipment professionally. 
  • Develop storyboards, shot lists, and creative concepts for video projects. 
  • Travel to project sites and event locations throughout Improveit’s markets. 
Video & Photo Production 
  • Edit and produce high-quality photo and video content using Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom. 
  • Edit content for social media, digital advertising, commercials, recruiting, internal communications, and other marketing needs. 
  • Optimize video and photo assets for different platforms, placements, and formats. 
  • Perform photo retouching, color correction, audio editing, and other post-production work as needed. 
  • Manage and organize raw footage, photography, project files, and final assets to ensure content is accessible and efficiently maintained. 
  • Maintain consistency with Improveit brand standards and creative direction. 
Content & Marketing Support 
  • Partner with the Marketing team to develop visual content that supports broader marketing campaigns and business objectives. 
  • Help identify opportunities to repurpose existing photo and video assets across multiple channels. 
  • Collaborate with social media and content team members to develop engaging content. 
  • Support the Recruiting team with visual campaigns and content designed to attract top talent. 
  • Participate in on-location events and provide live social media content when needed. 
  • Assist with event setup, packing/unpacking, display organization, and other marketing logistics as needed. 
Project Ownership 
  • Manage multiple production projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and priorities. 
  • Take ownership of projects from concept and planning through production, editing, and final delivery. 
  • Communicate proactively with homeowners, internal stakeholders, and members of the Marketing team. 
  • Be receptive to feedback and continuously look for ways to improve the quality and effectiveness of our creative work. 
  • Bring new ideas, trends, and creative approaches that help Improveit stand out. 
Qualifications & Experience 
  • 2+ years of professional experience in photography, videography, media production, or a related field preferred. 
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating photography and video production skills. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom. 
  • Strong understanding of camera operations, composition, lighting, audio, and videography techniques. 
  • Experience with video editing, photo retouching, and post-production. 
  • Experience developing storyboards, shot lists, scripts, or other pre-production materials. 
  • Comfortable conducting interviews and directing talent in front of the camera. 
  • Strong eye for composition, lighting, visual storytelling, and brand presentation. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with homeowners and customers. 
  • Highly organized with strong project ownership and attention to detail. 
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader team. 
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly in a field-production environment. 
  • Collaborative, feedback-friendly mindset with a passion for pushing creative work beyond the expected. 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required. 
  • Ability to travel to project sites and events throughout Improveit’s service territory.
