Job description

A New York City–based attorney, author, and media personality is hiring a full-time Personal Assistant to be his right hand.
One person, one principal, and a life that runs on several tracks at once: a busy law practice, a podcast and television schedule, two books in progress, national travel, and homes in Manhattan and the Catskills. You will monitor the inbox, the calendar, the travel, the vendors, and the on-the-ground logistics — the coffee waiting between recording sessions, the car timed to the next meeting, the Catskills house and the Manhattan apartment stocked before he arrives. You will return the call for media inquiries and coordinate media appearance trips to LA, Austin, Miami and other locations. Ability to travel for occasional appearances to accompany (with all travel and separate lodgings covered) would be a plus.
This is a role for someone who anticipates rather than reacts, communicates well, stays calm when the day goes unexpectedly sideways, and is incredibly discreet. Manhattan-area-based, valid driver's license and a reliable car required (mileage, parking and vehicle allowance will be provided). Generous benefits. Confidentiality agreement required.
Salary range $100,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience. Not commission-based. Full description available on request.
