Job Description Role: On-Site Multi Media Technician - Cambridge Boston Dreamtek are seeking a multi media technician to work on-site full time at a customer location in Cambridge, Boston. This individual will be the primary interface between Dreamtek and their customer and will require a high standard of AV and Live Video knowledge together with customer facing and administration skills.

Key Requirements: Work with internal teams using ticketing systems to schedule and coordinate events on a daily basis.

Meet with internal and/or external production personnel to plan and review Event Deliverables. Provide full production support for video-recording, minor editing and encoding of internal events and presentations. Provide primary videography, video editing, and other production assistance with various video projects.

Film interviews, skits, talks, events, and other material as agreed between the parties. Manage camera, sound, and lighting equipment. Capture and log all events to Hard Disk Drives.

Encode and upload selected talks to the client internal network. Ensure top quality audio and visual for presentations. Optimize the content aspect ratios/resolutions and file formats of presentations to suit the relevant event space.

Work with Event Production team on future technology enhancements and features within the events space. Manage and maintain the event production space and hardware. Manage the technical interaction any external production companies have with all client-owned equipment during events.

Create "event sheets" which detail any technical requirements for each event. Track all events and coordination details in a spreadsheet on a monthly basis. Professional expertise in rigging, lighting, sound reinforcement, projection, AV equipment maintenance and repairs, videotaping, filming, streaming and video conferencing.

Live audio Ability to apply compression, gating, graphic eq, parametric eq. Strong knowledge of balanced analogue and digital audio signal flow and digital audio mixing desks. Live video Video compression - H264, B-Frames.

Video cameras - iris control, frame-rates, white balancing etc. Analogue and digital (HD-SDI/DVI) signal flows. Audio embedding.

IT - Strong understanding of the Internet and Live Streaming. Experience with the following (or similar) control surfaces: Yamaha LS9/CL series audio mixing desks. Frog 2 Zero 88 lighting desk.

Panasonic AW-RP655 camera controller. For.A HVS-350HS video switcher.
