Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
St. Luke's School seeks a full time TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIAL MEDIA/MARKETING COORDINATOR that is collaborative, part of our office team, organized, has solid computer skills, loves working with adults and children, and upholds our school's Catholic mission. This person will be trained by our current Technology Coordinator. The position is hourly and is hired by the principal in conjunction with the pastor and reports to the principal.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • A high school diploma or GED, bachelors/associate degree
  • Previous media and general technology experience preferred

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Be a positive, helpful, welcoming face as part of the office staff
  • Knowledge of and management of basic daily technology operations and support. Ordering devices as needed and keeping up with technology maintenance
  • Have the ability to multitask, updating social media and troubleshooting technology issues
  • Knowledge and use of the Google Suite (docs, gmail and excel) and Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn and provide support for our Student Information System (FACTS Management), data entry experience is needed
  • Maintain and update the school website and monthly calendar
  • Manage e-blast list for families, classes and staff
  • Management of the SLS Technology Plan, rolling out/assigning devices each year to students
  • Send emails to remind faculty of Progress Reports and Report Card due dates
  • Works well with others, shows empathy, maintains positive relationships with staff and families
  • Create usernames and passwords for students, staff and FACTS.
  • Assists and supports the principal wherever needed
  • Performing other responsibilities as designated by the principal or pastor of the school
  • Will be trained by SLS staff and the principal
