Position Overview

We're looking for a creative, curious, and social media-savvy Social Media Intern to join our team. This is a paid internship designed for someone who is excited to learn the ins and outs of content creation, community management, and social media marketing while gaining hands-on experience with established ecommerce brands.

In this role, you'll help create engaging social content, participate in video ideation and production, and interact with our online communities across social platforms. You'll work closely with our content and marketing teams, receiving direct mentorship and guidance on content strategy, video creation, platform best practices, brand voice, and audience engagement.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a portfolio, develop in-demand content marketing skills, and gain real-world experience in a collaborative and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Community Management

· Monitor and engage with audiences across social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.

· Help foster positive and engaging online communities by building relationships with customers and followers.

· Escalate customer service concerns or sensitive issues to the appropriate team members.

· Identify opportunities for engagement, conversation, and community growth.

Content Creation & Video Production

· Assist in the ideation, planning, and creation of social media content across multiple platforms.

· Create short-form video content for channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.

· Participate in content shoots, product demonstrations, tutorials, trend-based content, and behind-the-scenes storytelling.

· Edit and optimize content for platform-specific best practices.

· Stay current on social media trends, viral formats, creator strategies, and platform updates, bringing fresh ideas to the team.

Collaboration & Learning

· Work closely with the Content Manager and marketing team to execute content initiatives.

· Learn content strategy, audience engagement tactics, and social media best practices through hands-on experience and mentorship.

· Assist with content organization, planning, and content calendar execution.

· Contribute ideas during content brainstorming and planning sessions.
