Medical Technician (Med Tech)

Assisted Living & Memory Care Community

Are you passionate about helping others and looking for a rewarding career in healthcare? Join our team as a part time Medical Technician (Med Tech) and play a vital role in supporting the health, wellness, and quality of life of our residents.

Under the direction of the Executive Director and Wellness Director, you'll be responsible for safely administering medications, monitoring resident well-being, and providing compassionate support in a senior living environment. If you're dependable, caring, and thrive in a people-focused role, we'd love to meet you.

ResponsibilitiesMedication Administration
  • Administer medications and treatments safely, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Follow physician orders and community medication management policies.
  • Observe residents for medication effectiveness and potential side effects.
  • Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
Resident Care & Support
  • Monitor resident health and report changes in condition to the nursing team.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
  • Obtain and record vital signs and resident observations.
  • Support residents in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living, and Hospice settings.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate medical records using EMR/EHR systems.
  • Document resident care, medication administration, and observations promptly.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and resident confidentiality standards.
  • Follow all state regulations and community policies regarding resident care.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with nurses, caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
QualificationsRequired
  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
