  • Paid Time Off: 20 days of vacation per year, accruing at a rate of 6.15 hours per pay period for the first five years of employment
  • Sick Time: 40 hours/year (increased to 69 hours/year for Seattle) including 5 discretionary sick days per instance
  • Maternity Leave (Short-Term Disability Baby Bonding): 28-30 weeks
  • Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks
  • Holidays: 13 paid days per year

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Mechatronics Engineering-related occupation.
  • Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: Systems architecture design for performance, reliability, and testability or system-level design considering component interactions and resource constraints; Root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of electromechanical and software systems or debugging complex hardware-software interactions; Application of mechanical engineering and product design principles; Application of fundamental electrical engineering principles; and Technical documentation of system designs, processes, and specifications or creating technical specifications for system hardware and software.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize hardware component designs using industry-standard tools while considering cross-functional constraints and system requirements.
  • Build and utilize prototypes to test design features, characterizing performance across various operating conditions through simulation, analysis, and stress testing.
  • Analyze, identify, and debug issues within hardware components and systems, proposing corrective solutions to address failures and mitigate design risks.
  • Review hardware designs, including schematics, layouts, and block diagrams, to validate functionality and proactively address potential integration issues.
  • Integrate complex hardware subsystems and components with other products, services, and networks to create cohesive and functional final systems. Document hardware specifications, design implementations, test plans, and validation results throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
