Job description

Position Summary

The Mechatronics Instructor is responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training service programs. As a faculty member, you'll provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience of our students and achieve learning outcomes. They will conduct classes for Warehouse Automation field service technicians, technical support and engineering personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and conduct technical training programs.
  • Assess training needs and certification requirements.
  • Prepare training material and classroom agenda.
  • Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
  • Assist in design of computer-based and multimedia curriculum.
  • Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
  • Plan and direct classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences, and workshops.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics and/or equivalent in a Technical or Engineering related field.
  • Technical training experience preferred
  • 20% Travel required
  • Two years of industry experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • Familiarity with OPEX products is a plus.

Salary Range

  • $75,000-78,000/yr, depending on experience and qualifications
