Description
Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages all personnel in electrical positions as well as overseeing any work related to electrical projects and activities. This may include such functions as staffing, evaluating, transfer, promotions, and discipline as per company policy and applicable laws.
Purpose: This position will be the Master of Record Electrician for the Company. Responsible to oversee and maintain the records of all electrical work performed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes. Oversee all electrical projects and activities as well as other electricians, apprentices, and helpers, ensuring that all work is performed safely and correctly.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
• Plan and layout all electrical projects
• Coordinate electrical needs and requirements with outside contractors
• Work and coordinate with outside power companies
• Must stay up to date on continuing education credits to include applicable requirements per Code
• Maintain comprehensive records of all electrical work, including material quantities, time spent, cost and labor, and project progress
• Promote electrical safety in the workplace and participate in regular safety audits and training sessions, which may include but are not limited to: LOTO, Arc Flash, NFPA 70E, proper PPE assessments, etc.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing electrical systems
• Responsible for obtaining any necessary permits and scheduling required inspections for electrical work
• Demonstrate leadership commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and coach subordinates on their impact on TEAM QMS objectives
• Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
• Must be accredited from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program
• Must know State, Federal and local electrical codes for commercial and residential applications
• Must have a class A Master Electrician license
• Commercial Driver's License preferred
• Must have minumum of at least 5 years Experience as a Master Electrician, including oversite of multiple electrical positions and personnel
• Must have experience in planning for, laying out, supervising & installing wiring, apparatus or equipment for electrical light, heat, and power
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must be able to follow written /verbal instructions or procedures
• Experience in Mechatronics preferred
• Must have excellent project management and documentation skills
• Must qualify to drive company vehicles as per company driving policy
• Travel required to TEAM facilities to perform responsibilities as needed
• Ability to travel up to 50% of time

• Walk, stand, or sit 95% of shift
• Perform specific duties from a man basket or scissor lift-possible heights of 24 to 30 feet
• Must be able to work from a bucket truck
