We are looking for an Electro-mechanical Quality Test Technician for our production team on 1st shift. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.
The Electro-mechanical Quality Test technician is responsible for performing final test and inspection duties on Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment, such as Switchgears, Switchboards and Breakers
Shift Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Hourly Rate: $24.79

Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years of electrical wiring or electrical testing experience.
  • Ability to conduct thorough final inspections on all electrical equipment, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Experience with various test equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading schematic drawings, layouts, and wire lists for circuit troubleshooting.
  • Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Residential or commercial electrical education or certifications.
  • Experience with Hi-pot testing.

You'll make an impact by:
  • Perform final electro-mechanical inspections on units, ensuring adherence to company quality standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct nondestructive tests on equipment according to specifications and drawings, troubleshoot failures, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports, working professionally with Engineering and Wirers during tests and reporting findings.
  • Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and be a strong team player.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
