About the role:

REMOTE Contract Procurement Engineer opportunity. You will report to the Manager of Nuclear Procurement Engineering & Maintenance Optimization, APX-Plant & Design Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Procurement Engineer on our Procurement Engineering and Maintenance Optimization team, you will support projects related to Nuclear Operating Plant obsolescence programs. You will focus on providing Engineering Solutions to obsolescence challenges associated with commercial nuclear power plant systems and components.

You will have operations and maintenance experience and the ability to guide utility clients through program implementation, technical evaluations, and compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, and submit engineering documentation

Item Equivalency Evaluations

Commercial Grade Dedication Packages

Material Master Classifications

Resolve Procurement Engineering Hold

Work within project constraints to meet project delivery deadlines

Collaborate with a multi-discipline team while driving to improve group capability on all Nuclear Power Plant Technology

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizen/ Permanent Resident - required

B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil or related discipline)

Minimum 1-4 years of experience in the nuclear power, manufacturing, or similar industry;
