To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Molding Engineering Intern located in our Buffalo Grove, IL site.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Assist Engineering Team with continuous improvement project(s)
  • Attend Design Status, Customer/Internal Review and Continuous Improvement Meetings
  • Support plastic injection mold design process
  • Complete assigned work orders and provide 2D and 3D models
  • Update design guidelines and standards
  • Update to documentation for Process Guides, CCL's to stay compliant

Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:

  • Junior/Senior student pursuing Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related major
  • Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
  • Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
  • Solidworks CAD and troubleshooting knowledge highly desired
  • Prior internship experience with plastic injection molding process strongly preferred

Internship Program Requirements:

  • Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
  • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
  • 3.0 minimum GPA
