Recruiter Summary of Position

  • Job Title: HL7 Integration Engineer (BridgeLink, DICOM, MIRTH) 
  • Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Work Arrangement: Remote (US-based)
  • Required Technical Skills: HL7 V2/V3 protocols, interface optimization/cleanup, and integration engine experience with Mirth Connect or BridgeLink. DCM4CHE experience required. Data mapping, channel consolidation, system testing, and legacy pipeline auditing.
  • Preferred Technical Skills: DICOM routing/imaging workflows, JavaScript (for Mirth transformer filtering), and SQL query mechanics.
  • Contract Duration: 60 to 90 days. Potential for extension of FTE conversion.
  • Schedule: 40+ hour work with "on-call" shift during evenings/weekends per business need.

You are a data fixer and systems architect rolled into one. You'll spend your short-term sprint diving headfirst into our MIRTH and BridgeLink environments, cleaning up legacy HL7 feeds, and establishing a single, bulletproof stream of communication. Partnering closely with clinical administrative staff and local facility engineers, your work ensures that medical systems talk to each other without missing a beat. It's a fast-paced, high-visibility project where your technical updates make an immediate, tangible impact.
