Job description

Are you looking for a unique opportunity? We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual to join our growing company. The Mechanic Helper will be responsible for helping inspect rental equipment, diagnosing problems with engine, hydraulics and electrical systems, perform routine maintenance, and complete necessary repairs under supervision. Candidates with more than one year of mechanic experience are preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Pay Range: $18 – $24 (Dependent on Experience)

Alongside competitive pay, ISCO offers a benefits package including; medical/dental/vision, paid vacation, holidays, sick days, and a 401k! Team members are provided all tools/equipment and PPE.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Perform basic preventive maintenance such as changing engine oil and hydraulic fluids.
  • Inspect returned rental equipment for damaged, broken or missing items.
  • Document and report missing or damaged items
  • Create repair orders to record repairs, preventive maintenance service and orders parts as needed to complete repairs.
  • Help maintain parts inventory.
  • Keep a clean and well-organized work areas
  • Prepare sold and rental equipment for shipping
  • Perform other duties as need to help other departments as directed by supervisor
  • Follow company policies, procedures and safety rules
  • Have a positive responsible attitude.

Screening requirements include: A Physical, Drug Screen, and Criminal Background Check.
