Position Summary: A Licensed Engineer who uses experience to perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in all aspects of engineering design for large and complex projects.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledgeable in the design of mechanical systems including heating, ventilation, cooling, exhaust, and specialty systems for commercial and public buildings
  • Knowledgeable in the design of plumbing systems including gas, potable water, sanitary, sewer, fire suppression, and specialty systems for commercial and public buildings.
  • Undertakes a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard engineering techniques for small projects or selected segments of a larger project.
  • Relies on experience and judgement for design, development, implementation, and analysis of engineering designs and systems.
  • Produces high quality, accurate, and consistent drawings.
  • Collects and prepares data/information and performs engineering calculations. Develops technical specifications and data sheets.
  • Performs construction administration, drawing review, and response to RFI’s.
  • Assists in field work. Available to travel, as needed, dependent upon specific project assignments. 15% of time reserved for travel.
