Senior Project Engineer — BPGS Construction, LLC

BPGS Construction, LLC (“BPGS”) is a full‑service construction management subsidiary of BPG. We deliver integrated pre‑construction and construction management services for BPG and select third‑party clients.

With over $300 million in completed or active capital improvement projects, including hotels, offices, residential, retail, and parking, BPGS continues to build environments that elevate communities and support long‑term growth.

Position Summary

The Senior Project Engineer plays a critical role in field operations and project management across all phases of construction. As a key member of the project team, this role partners closely with project managers and superintendents while mentoring junior staff.

This position serves as a development pathway toward future leadership roles such as Project Manager or Construction Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead buy‑out strategy and execution for assigned bid packages
    • Prepare scopes of work
    • Facilitate bid processes
    • Evaluate submissions
    • Conduct subcontractor scope review meetings
    • Support final subcontractor selection
  • Review design documents for constructability, clarity, and completeness
  • Manage RFI workflows for assigned bid packages
  • Oversee submittals to ensure design conformance and coordination across trades
  • Monitor and manage bid package costs, including change negotiation and budget projections
  • Support the daily resolution of field or coordination conflicts
  • Serve as a mentor to Project Coordinators and junior engineering staff
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
