Job description

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer 2
Location: East Peoria Building KK (92066-1) & Decatur Building A (92069-1)
Close to new subs: Wednesday, April 01 @ 02 PM CST
92066-1: 100 Sanford Street, East Peoria, Illinois 61611
92069-1: 3000 North 27th Street, Decatur, Illinois 62526
Notes:
  • Machine casting and forging peace parts
  • Decatur - on a sub team working on large cases
  • East Peoria Building KK - KK office is getting renovated so will be Mossville office initially - will work on spindles and wheels
  • Candidate could be a mechanical design engineer that has familiarity with Machine casting in general.
  • They will need to be a mechanical or aerospace equivalent engineer
  • These roles will be 5 days onsite in the office
  • Role is essentially a design support role
  • Modelling in Creo
  • Basic calculations, stack up analysis, modeling , completing some FEA and Creo simulate
  • Will work with Sr. Engineer
  • Not expecting any travel in these roles
  • Look at parts for production and fit up, examine a component and working with supplier when there are design or quality issues
  • Teamcenter is a Plus and can be trained.

Years of experience:
  • 2 -4 years - someone only with internship will not be preferred
  • Industry experience is needed

Skills:
  • Creo is day to day requirement (MUST)
  • APQP familiarity will be a plus not a deal breaker

Interview:
  • 1 hour of team's video interview
  • If a candidate is comfortable, they can have them come in for in person interview
