What is a mechanical engineer rotational program?

A Mechanical Engineer Rotational Program is a structured early-career development program where recent graduates rotate through multiple engineering roles or departments within a company. These programs typically last one to two years and aim to provide broad exposure to different aspects of mechanical engineering, such as design, manufacturing, testing, and project management. Participants gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and a better understanding of the company's operations, helping them identify their preferred career path within the organization. Upon completion, engineers often transition into a permanent role that matches their skills and interests.
