DESCRIPTION:

As a Project Engineer at Becho Incorporated, you will have the opportunity to support the Project Manager in our Honolulu, HI, Project.

  • Track, review and process Change Proposal Requests, Change Orders, Owner Payment Applications and, if applicable, claims

  • Monitor job costs, maintain accurate reports and assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in preparing quantity reports, analyzing the labor costs and completing quarterly profit project records

  • Manage the preparation and executing of the Project closeout process

  • Research and propose solutions to quality control issues

  • Perform quantities take-offs

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution

  • Master degree, PE registration, estimating and/or CAD experience are all preferred but not required

  • 3 or more years of construction experience in the civil or infrastructure sector

  • Previous experience as a field engineer, project engineer or office engineer
