Job Summary:
The 2nd Shift Lab Technician is responsible for assembly of mechanical test stands, electrical cables, and harnesses. Additional responsibilities include wire routing, checkout and delivery of products, and assisting in writing of manuals, test procedures and reports.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Assemble Mechanical test stands
  • Electrical enclosure buildup and wiring
  • Electrical cable assembly
  • Wire routing/installation of electrical control boxes
  • Operate data acquisition equipment
  • Capture and compile test data
  • Assist in equipment assembly, checkout and delivery of products
  • Assist in the writing of manual and automated test procedures and reports

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of related experience in similar field of work.

Minimum Competencies:
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings, sketches, schematics and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Training in LEAN manufacturing

Preferred Competencies:
  • J-STD-001 Soldering Certified
