RLM Engineering is a full-service mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire sprinkler design firm.  The firm is focused on the building retrofit market in the NYC and Long Island area. 

RLM Engineering is seeking a mechanical engineer with experience in designing HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems for a wide variety of building/facility renovation projects. This position will entail designing building systems and tenant spaces based on client’s needs. 

In addition to engineering design, duties will include writing specifications; CAD drafting; coordinating with electrical engineers, performing site visits to client facilities; and coordinating with clients, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies. Good communicator that will be capable of working face to face with clients daily.  Ability to manage engineering design projects to provide a quality product for the client.  Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is required.
