In this position, you will contribute throughout the full product lifecycle—from research and development through design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, implementation, and final product release.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform full lifecycle mechanical product development, including design, development, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and implementation.

  • Design mechanical systems, assemblies, and components that meet product requirements and performance specifications.

  • Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed mechanical designs using 2D and 3D CAD tools.

  • Create and evaluate prototypes throughout the product-development process.

  • Conduct methodical experiments, analyze engineering data, and interpret results to support design decisions.

  • Test and evaluate theoretical and physical designs for performance, reliability, manufacturability, and safety.

  • Identify engineering challenges and develop effective solutions to emerging technical problems.

  • Evaluate final product performance, reliability, quality, and overall functionality.

  • Modify and optimize designs to meet changing requirements and eliminate product or manufacturing issues.

  • Support the transition of new products from engineering development into manufacturing and production.

  • Estimate project scope, resources, timelines, and budget requirements.

  • Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.

  • Collaborate with electrical engineering, firmware/software, manufacturing, product management, quality, and other cross-functional teams.

  • Provide technical guidance and engineering leadership throughout product-development projects.

  • Research and evaluate new materials, technologies, manufacturing methods, and mechanical engineering approaches.

  • Continue developing technical knowledge and applying new engineering theories and methods.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking ForRequired Skills
