Role Description

We're looking for a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Windsor, California. If you're passionate about product design, enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, and want to see your ideas go from concept to production, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing innovative foodservice equipment that powers kitchens around the world. In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems and components for commercial cooking equipment
  • Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using SolidWorks
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, quality, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product development cycle
  • Build and evaluate prototypes, conduct testing, and analyze performance results
  • Ensure designs meet applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Troubleshoot design challenges and implement practical, cost-effective solutions
  • Optimize products for manufacturability, reliability, and performance
  • Support projects from initial concept through production launch and ongoing product improvements

What You'll Bring

Ability to work full-time on-site in Windsor, California 

Comfortable collaborating with manufacturing, production, and engineering teams in a hands-on environment


Qualifications

  •  Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • 3-5 years of mechanical design engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and product development processes
  • Experience designing durable, reliable machine systems
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks CAD software 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  Compensation

Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000 annually*

*Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, education, training, and business needs.
