Description:

The Master Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for overseeing and executing the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of equipment, facilities, and systems. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership in directing maintenance activities, and coordination with other departments to ensure efficient and safe operations. The Master Maintenance Mechanic plays a key role in ensuring the operational readiness and efficiency of production equipment and systems within the manufacturing plant. This position requires advanced technical skills, the ability to diagnose complex equipment failures, and leadership in maintaining a safe, compliant, and high-performance production environment. 

Requirements:
  • Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and machinery issues.
  • Lead and mentor junior technicians; provide training and technical guidance as needed.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage third-party vendors and contractors.
  • Participate in facility upgrades, installations, and special projects.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls during and outside of regular hours.
  • Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
  • Execute and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment life.
  • Lead and/or contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions on recurring mechanical or electrical failures.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and minimize production disruptions.
  • Manage maintenance documentation including work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.
  • Assist with machine installations, relocations, and capital equipment upgrades.
  • Maintain compliance with plant safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and industry standards.
  • Perform and document routine inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and spare parts are accounted for.
  • Other duties as assigned.  

$33 /Hour

$30 Weekly Attendance Bonus
