Pay: $25–$35 per hour (based on experience) 

Nations Roof, one of the largest commercial roofing contractors in the U.S., is seeking a dependable and organized Small Engine Technician / Yard Foreman to join our team. This role primarily focuses on maintaining and repairing small engines, hand tools, and roofing equipment to ensure all equipment is safe and job-ready.

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to inspect, maintain, and perform minor repairs on small engines, hand tools, and roofing equipment. This position also supports warehouse operations, equipment coordination, and deliveries, working closely with the Warehouse Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Small Engine & Equipment Repair (Primary Focus)

  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on small engines, generators, compressors, and roofing equipment
  • Repair and maintain hand and power tools
  • Inspect cords, fuel systems, and safety components
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and coordinate outside repairs when needed
  • Inspect and test equipment before jobsite dispatch
  • Maintain service and inspection records

Warehouse & Equipment Coordination

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operations
  • Stage and prepare equipment for projects
  • Track equipment usage and returns
  • Organize warehouse and yard areas
  • Maintain accurate inventory records

Deliveries & Logistics

  • Load, secure, and transport materials and equipment
  • Drive company vehicles for jobsite deliveries
  • Safely load and unload materials
  • Support delivery scheduling and coordination

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow OSHA and Nations Roof safety standards
  • Ensure equipment meets safety requirements before use
