Job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance, power tools, diesel engines as well as small engine/landscape equipment repair. If you are passionate about working with heavy machinery and ensuring their optimal performance, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and repair engine issues using diagnostic tools
- Inspect and repair brakes, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and other vital parts of diesel vehicles
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Conduct inspections and test drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed
- Experience in small engine repair and lawn equipment maintenance required
Qualifications:

-CDL A with Manual Transmission
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, shocks struts, and tractor-trailer systems
- Ability to use power tools effectively
- Forklift & Loader experience required
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
