We're looking for an experienced Mechanic to keep our fleet and equipment operating safely and reliably. In this role, you'll inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, including diesel trucks, trailers, forklifts, pickups, fuel trucks, pumps, and other fleet assets.

What You'll Do
  • Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, forklifts, fuel trucks, pumps, and other equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, steering, transmission, cooling, fuel, and air conditioning system issues.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify worn or damaged components.
  • Repair or replace major and minor components, including engines, drivetrains, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, and emissions systems.
  • Test, adjust, and verify vehicle performance after repairs.
  • Ensure all equipment complies with DOT, OSHA, state, and federal safety standards.
  • Complete accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
  • Maintain shop tools, equipment, and inventory, including ordering parts and conducting monthly inventory counts.
  • Help control repair costs by utilizing warranties and sourcing cost-effective parts and services.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Occasionally deliver or pick up fuel tanks and assist with deliveries as business needs require.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with equipment, safety practices, and industry standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and fleet operations.

What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, electrical systems, hydraulics, cooling systems, and preventive maintenance.
  • Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Valid driver's license required. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
  • Experience working on fuel delivery vehicles or petroleum equipment is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and inventory tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
